Chris Brain
Director
With a degree in Medical Genetics and an MSc in Molecular medicine I spent a number of years working in a variety of roles for several blue-chip pharmaceutical companies including Abbot, Roche, Cephid and Smith & Nephew, before founding YouMed in 2016.
Since the launch we have successfully supported the launch of a large number of innovative diagnostics in both the UK and European markets.
Elizabeth Hutchinson
Director, Operations
I have over 20 years’ experience in the corporate sector and co-founded Youmed Ltd with Chris 8 years ago. My primary role within the company as Director & Operations Manager allows me to co-ordinate and manage the team as well as assist in the running of the key business activities, including the financials and logistics.
Stuart Cranmer
Development Manager
I am a graduate of Biochemistry with post-graduate study in Biochemical Immunology and International Sales. I trained in clinical biochemistry within the NHS, before moving into the in-vitro diagnostics industry. I have led sales and marketing operations in markets across the world and directed the UK subsidiaries of leading diagnostic companies including Sanofi Pasteur, Bio-Rad and DiaSorin. I bring thirty-five years of experience in the commercialisation of diagnostic systems across the pathology disciplines to YouMed.
Sarah Rhymer
PA to Directors
Having more than 25 years experience as a PA, I have spent the last 15 years working in healthcare. Working closely with Founding Directors in smaller growing businesses, I have developed a broad and varied skill set which allows me to support the team in a number of different ways, whilst also having a good understanding of the industry and the running of a successful business.
Phyllis Manubay,
Data Analysis Manager & Admin Support
My primary responsibility at YouMed is to develop comprehensive, targeted lead lists for the business development team, collaborating with Stuart to drive maximum engagement and progress. I also maintain our Client Relations Management system to ensure streamlined operations. In addition, I provide tech and administrative support as an all-rounder, helping maintain efficiency across the team.
Sherrylou Mangansakan
Business Development Executive
With a background as a Chemistry Head and generalist in a hospital-based tertiary lab, I now work in Business Development at Youmed. My role involves collaborating with the team to introduce innovative products to the UK NHS and fostering strategic partnerships.
Paolo Angelo Lamata
Business Development Executive
I’m a registered medical technologist with a background in both clinical and academic settings. I initially started as a lab generalist, before I transitioned into teaching as a lead clinical instructor. I’m bringing that background into Business Development at YouMed, where I focus on connecting with leads and helping drive our commercial growth.
